Board Member Tony Roman expressed his gratitude to teachers for their sacrifice and dedication to continually improve the quality of education in the country.

“I know the responsibilities you carry are not easy because I was once a teacher myself. Despite the challenges and the lack of resources, you continue to persevere,” he said.

“As we celebrate National Teachers’ Month, let us honor you and your significant contributions to society,” he added.

Roman made the remarks during the 12th Teachers’ Congress in the province where he served as a guest of honor held at Bataan People’s Center on Friday. Gov. Joet Garcia was also guest of honor.

National Teachers’ Month is celebrated to recognize and appreciate the invaluable role of educators in shaping the nation.
